Credits to Kristen

From age two and younger, the top rung of the jungle gym has never been a scare. 

Kristen aims for the top of the world and is undaunted until she reaches its peak. 

 Ever a gatherer—a gatherer of dolls 

and blocks

of siblings

and cousins

(at age 4 months with cousin David)

(Did anyone ever caution you about rose colored glasses?)

of friends and roommates,

it is ever a lift to be around Kristen.

  

She loves to learn.

She loves to play.  

She brings song

 

and good food        

 into the lives of children and family. 

(Even milk from a skinny cow can be attractive when offered by a food scientist)

Kristen loves to read

—books to Kristen are an open door to many lands 

and passageway to adventure and an abundant life. 

She is not afraid to do the hard thing 

and encourage others to do the same.   

She is loyal.

 She is devoted.  

She teaches her children to be kind.  

What would we do without Kristen?
