Healing in His Wings, in the acceptable year of our Lord, 2024

How grateful we are for past promises 

that "the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings"

(Malachi 4:2)

as we consider the blessing of stroke recovery for Val.  

Broken hip recovery for Val's right hand helper (Laurene).  

Feeling blessed to walk where grandparents walked.  

Mid isles of the sea 

and the shadow of the everlasting hills. 

Golden years with mothers, siblings, children, grandchildren.  

            Learning to live in the glimmer of offering and receiving tidings of joy. 

To lift and engage in family and neighborhood circles.  

Grateful for fundamental building blocks: principles of freedom.    

  Health in our navel.  Marrow in our bones. (Proverbs 3:8.) 

Pondering "navel" to be a connection between parent and child.  .

Wondering about nourishing this connection every day. 

Earthly. 

Heavenly. 

 To become as a Holy Child, 

(Acts 4:27)

a nail in a sure place 

(Isaiah 22:23).

A restorer of paths to dwell in. 

May your light break forth as the morning 

 and your health spring forth speedily.

 Your days and season be as a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. 

(Isaiah 58.)
